ISWAP and Boko Haram are planning to attack Lagos, Abuja, Katsina and other places

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), has announced that the insurgents are planning to attack Abuja, Katsina, Lagos, Zamfara and Kaduna states.

Local news agencies said that the secret of the attack was revealed in a memorandum published by the NSCDC disability agency, on the 25th day of July, 2022.

Although the organization has not yet said whether it is true, reports say that the deputy director of the organization, DD Mungadi, signed the publication, in order to tip off its employees about the attacks.

'The terrorist group Islamic State for West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram, who have gathered their soldiers, and have prepared weapons for them to carry out attacks in the states.'

] He said this made the director of the NSCDC, order his officers to strengthen the security system in important places such as schools, churches, and public assets, which can be attacked.

This news came after gunmen attacked the Presidential Guards Brigade on Sunday.

The attack took place on the Bwari to Kubwa road in Abuja. Eight soldiers were reportedly killed in the attack.

Apart from the NSCDC organization that is preparing, the head of the Nigerian police, Muyiwa Adejobi told Punch newspaper that the police chief, Usman Baba, has ordered that the policemen be sent to important places in Abuja. In the same way, he also explained that the police officers will investigate how they can make the intention of the attackers come to naught.
